Three ways to work with us
These terms can vary by region. At SULLIVAN, we use them as follows:
- Private Label
- An existing SULLIVAN formulation supplied under your own brand and label, without formulation changes.
- OEM
- An existing formulation from our archive, adjusted to your requirements and manufactured under your brand.
- ODM
- A new formulation developed to your requirements and manufactured under your brand.

Use our development archive of more than 300 records to identify a suitable starting point for your intended use.
Define the requirements
We work through the details with you — intended use, ease of application, finish and target price range.
Develop a new formulation
If you need a custom specification, we can develop a new formulation. For ODM and exclusive specifications, minimum quantities are quoted case by case based on the specification and your sales plan.
MINIMUM ORDER
From 10 units
OEM production using existing formulations is available from 10 units. Minimum order requirements, including how a unit is defined, may vary depending on product specifications and packaging.
COST
How costs work
No upfront development fee for standard prototyping
Standard prototyping and formulation adjustments generally do not require an upfront development fee.
Additional costs quoted in advance
Costs for special materials or external testing are quoted in advance. If the project proceeds to a production order, they are credited toward the first order.
Containers, labels, boxes and design
Customers generally provide the containers, labels, boxes and design.
CONFIDENTIALITY
Confidential discussions are conducted
under a mutual NDA
Before confidential information is exchanged, we enter into a mutual non-disclosure agreement (NDA). This applies to matters such as product concepts, formulations, specifications and sales plans. Initial inquiries can be made without disclosing confidential information.

Inquiry & initial discussion
We ask about the product you want to create, its intended use, target customers, estimated quantity and preferred launch timing.

Direction
Together, we decide whether to use an existing formulation or develop a new one, and agree on performance, ease of application, finish and price positioning.

Prototyping & evaluation
We prepare prototypes for you to evaluate ease of application, performance and finish.

Specification & quote
We finalize the formulation, quantity, lead time and cost, and confirm the container specifications and print-ready artwork required for production.

Production
We proceed with production based on the approved specification.

Inspection & delivery arrangements
After inspection, delivery and shipping arrangements are confirmed case by case. We can also discuss repeat orders and larger volumes.
